Shipping:
I
am legally contracted to ship reptiles with UPS, Fed-Ex and DHL.
All reptiles are shipped overnight-service,..
Monday-Wednesday only. When placing an order, shipping dates must
be arranged so that someone is home to sign for the package upon
arrival. You can also arrange for your local shipping office (eg.
UPS Store,..Fed-Ex Kinkos, etc) to hold your package if necessary.
Shipping costs ($50-60) are applied toward materials and actual
postage. All
reptiles are shipped with insulated boxes and professional 40-hour
heatpacks as needed. I take the
extra time to personally drive all of the packages to UPS or Fed-Ex
at 5pm mst so that they do not spend unnecessary time in trucks.
Afterwards, I email tracking numbers to all customers so that you
may track your shipment online. Unless specifically requested otherwise,
all lizards are shipped UPS and all
snakes are shipped Fed-Ex.
Guarantee:
Live arrival is guaranteed. This guarantee is void if someone is not
home to sign for the package as arranged. I cannot guarantee an animal
that has been sitting in a box on your front porch.
In the extremely unlikely event that your animal is DOA(dead on arrival),
I ask that you please contact me immediately before taking any action.
For claims, do not throw-away the animal or box. I must ask for proof
via photos. If you do not contact me immediately before acting, I
will be unable to refund or replace your order.
I guarantee satisfaction and want you to be happy
with your purchase. If for any reason you are unsatisfied with the
animal upon arrival, I ask that you please contact me within
24 hours to discuss a return/refund. Refunds on the basis
of satisfaction must be put into process within 24 hours of arrival
and the reptile must be returned to me within 48 hours. Satisfaction
refunds are for the animal only (we cannot cover shipping costs).
I also offer an extended
health guarantee for up to 20 days. For this guarantee to be activated,...
you must notify me right away of any health concerns. Proper husbandry
and care instructions must be followed for a refund to be possible.
All refunds are dependent on the animal being shipped back to me asap.
Health refunds include the cost of the animal and I cover shipping
costs. Refunds are limited to the purchase price.
I will only accept returns on animals that have been quarantined properly.
Due to the presence of viruses in the reptile market, I am unable
to accept returns on animals that have been in any contact with others
for fear of contamination. Please understand that another reptile
could pass contagions that could devastate my collection. If you chose
to co-habitate your new reptile or introduce it to another reptile,
any guarantee is void.
If returning an animal, the customer must make
arrangements to do so promptly. This is crucial to the health of the
animal as shipping and being transferred to new enclosures can stress
and compromise the well-being of the reptile. For satisfaction refunds,
your reptile must be returned to me within 48 hours. For health refunds,
your reptile must be returned to me as soon as directed within the
extended 20 day period.
*a note
on bearded dragon coloration*
Bearded dragon coloration will depend greatly
on the type of set up, lighting provided, diet, age, psychology, stress,
etc. of your dragon. Please
be assured that I do everything I can to represent my dragons honestly.
I sell bearded dragons with the
price adjusted to coloration showing at the time of the specific photography
session,.. or sale,... but I also take into account genetic potential.
I can guarantee your satisfaction upon arrival of the dragon. If you
do not feel that the dragon you received looks like the color in the
photo you were sent,... or you are unsatisfied for any reason, ..you
may be entitiled to a refund if you contact me within 24 hours (as
discussed in the previous section). However,..because there are so
many factors that play into dragon coloration, I cannot guarantee
the color for months or years after the dragon is out of my care.
Since I do not directly inbreed or line-breed for color, most of my
babies develop patterns and coloration that are unique and individual.
In the case of new crosses ( pairs who I have not bred before), I
sell according to the color "as I see it" in the babies.
All of my baby dragons, even the duller ones, have great genetic potential
when it comes to color. Each case will vary greatly and will depend
on numerous different factors; many of which are not in my control.
Some dull ones wind up coloring-up very brightly, while some bright
babies do not maintain their initial color. The pricing reflects what
I see in the babies and parents, and represents my best guess for
color in the future.
Sexing: I do my best to offer accurate sexing
on all of my reptiles. Please be aware that many species are difficult
to sex at a young age. Although I have a great 'track record', sexing
is not guaranteed unless specifically asked-for or stated. If sexing
is guaranteed, any mis-sexed animals must be returned or exchanged
within 20 days.
*a note on parasites and dragons*
Unfortunately, parasites are very common in reptiles, especially imports
and dragons. New research indicates that it might be best to only
use medication if your reptile shows outward symptoms such as weight
loss or lack of appetite. This is especially the case with antibiotics
such as albon, and with young bearded dragons. Therefore, if a baby
dragon is eating well, fat, and growing, I do not medicate. I realize
this is a controversial subject and much research still needs to be
done. You must decide what works best for you. Be aware that parasite
levels may hike during shipping and acclimation to a new home due
to stress. I believe that, if left alone, a reptile can control and
lower these levels on-their-own through "stress management".

Wholesale: Any animals ordered
wholesale are guaranteed live, healthy arrival. No extended guarantee
applies.

the age of 18 without parental consent.

Support:
I care greatly about the health of my reptile and go above-and-beyond
for the care of my breeders and hatchlings. If you notice any problems
with any of my reptiles, please contact me immediately. I believe
strongly in good customer support, and will be happy to help you far
into the future with your purchase. I feel that if you follow the
care regiment that I offer, your reptile should live a healthy and
happy life.
Please be aware that reptiles often require a
period of time to adjust to new surroundings. It is normal for animals
to be skittish or shy of eating immediately after being placed in
a new setup. I have had great luck with reports of most of our animals
eating immediately and adjusting quickly, but I will be happy to walk
with you through this period to ensure that all husbandry issues are
addressed and that this adjustment period does not last too long.
Trades:
I rarely accept trades, but will consider them ones for the right
species. If you request a trade, my policy is that you must ship first.
Upon receiving the animal, I will promptly ship back to you. I may
ask for references, and you are free to inquire about mine.
Payment:
I take Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Paypal, and money
orders. I must wait until I receive payment to ship. Under the rare
circumstances that i take personal checks,..I wait for bank clearance
before shipment. You must contact me first, via email or phone, before
making a payment to ensure that the reptile is still available. My
stock tends to move quickly and it is important to make contact first.
I cannot hold an animal without
complete payment or a 25% non-refundable deposit. The longest I can
hold an animal prior to shipping is 3 weeks. On rare occasions that
i will hold reptiles for those who pay by mail,..I must receive payment
within 2-3 days to continue holding the animal. Under the rare circumstances
that i take personal checks,..I wait for bank clearance before shipment.
Please do not haggle me on prices.
I do my best to offer reasonable prices for my reptiles. If my pricing
for a particular animal seems high, it is usually due to the fact
that I put extra time, care, and money into my creatures and can offer
you an reptile of superior health and quality. Bearded dragon prices
also range dependening on coloration and size. Feel free to ask me
for further explanation in these cases. Quantity discounts may be
possible.
Be aware that my stock is captive-bred and born and will likely be
more expensive than wild caught specimens. By purchasing healthy captive-bred
animals,.. you are likely saving yourself from expensive vet bills
and will have an easier time acclimating your reptile. You can also
feel safe knowing you are supporting an ethical breeder and not compromising
any environmental or conservation ethics. Every species I work with
and/or sell is legal. My facilities and business are highly-regulated
and inspected by local government yearly. All my shipping practices
are legally contracted and ethical.
I breed most of the reptiles I sell.
However I occasionally purchase captive-bred reptiles from other reputable
breeders and will disclose that information if necessary.
